Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Beehive, we offer a positive and stimulating environment where children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are welcomed and supported in reaching their full potential.  We treat all children as the unique individuals they are, and believe they should have access to rich and varied experiences and learning opportunities.

We are committed to working with parents as well as other professionals in order to provide for each child's individual needs.   We contribute to report writing, attend review meetings and develop Individual Education Plans for those children who need them.

In some circumstances we are able to apply for Inclusion Funding from Suffolk County Council if we need to make changes to our usual provision in order to support a child's specific needs.
