Hours of Operation
Beehive Day Nursery is open from 8am to 6pm, weekdays, for 51 weeks each year, closing for five working days over the Christmas and New Year. The nursery is closed on Bank Holidays. We do not charge when we are closed. The nursery cannot have children on the premises outside these hours unless in the case of emergency and in agreement with the manager.
Registration
A non-refundable registration fee of £10 is charged in order to register your child at Beehive Day Nursery (with the exception of children ONLY accessing sessions covered by Early Years Funding)
A returnable deposit of £100 is payable once a place has been offered (with the exception of children ONLY accessing sessions covered by Early Years Funding). This deposit is refunded once written notice has been received of termination of your child's place at Beehive Day Nursery and any outstanding fees have been paid. If a place is cancelled before a child starts, the deposit is not returnable.
Registration is not complete and childcare will not begin until all paperwork is completed. Before leaving a child in the care of Beehive Day Nursery, we must have received the following:
Fees
Invoices are issued monthly and fees are payable, in full, within seven days, unless otherwise agreed by the manager. Non-payment of fees will result in the child's place being suspended or withdrawn unless reasonable arrangements are agreed with the nursery manager.
Fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change. Beehive Day Nursery will give a minimum of one month's notice prior to any changes to the fee structure.
Fees are not based on attendance. Refunds or credits are not given for days when children do not attend except for the following:
Illness
A child who is ill (e.g. fever, infection, diarrhoea and/or vomiting, or infectious illness) will be kept away from Beehive Day Nursery to protect the wellbeing of other children and staff. The exclusion period for cases of vomiting and/or diarrhoea is 48 hours after symptoms stop.
Termination of Contract
Beehive Day Nursery requires one month's written notice to terminate your child's place. Beehive Day Nursery reserves the right to end this contract with immediate effect in the case of non-payment of fees, or if a parent or carer displays abusive, threatening or other inappropriate behaviour.
Liability
Beehive Day Nursery accepts no responsibility for children while in their parents' care on the nursery premises. Beehive Day Nursery is not liable for any loss or damage to any property, equipment or clothing that is brought into the nursery.
